What to Expect at Photography Session

Your experience is everything to me. I know I have said this a lot but it is true. Who wants to get their photos taken when you are all stressed out, confused, not sure if what they are wearing will look nice in a photo, wondering if your kids will behave, or even if you packed the right things for the session (click here to read more on How to Prepare Yourself and Your Kids). I am here to be by your side and prepare you for everything from booking to photo printing. Here is a brief overview of what your photography session will look like and what to expect!

Every Session is Different

My clients may have kids, pregnant, welcoming home a newborn, celebrating their graduation, getting married. So many different stages of their life and experiences they are all going through. The best part of my job is being able to be a part of everyone’s special moments.  I love to see the joy and excitement of all of my clients as we document their life together.

Lets Have Fun and Take a Break

You can expect a fun laid-back session. During the session I will meet you either at your session location or at your home. It is important to remember to be a little early because your session time starts when it’s scheduled to start, not when you arrive.  From there I will pose you from head to toe. No more worrying about how to stand pose. I will be silly and give you prompts to make you all feel more comfortable! I love when everyone gets involved and joins in on playing the games and telling jokes.

We Say Good Bye For Now

When the session is done we will say goodbye for now and I will then send you my gallery delivery timeline. You can look forward to seeing your session sneak peek on Instagram and Facebook. Then reading about your session on my blog. Lastly, looking at all of your photos, hearting your favorite, and then ordering them to print so you can hang them in your home to share with everyone.

Lets take a look of a few of my favorite moments in some of my client sessions!
