On Monday night, it was time to document yet another great maternity session! I love nothing more than to be a part of some of the most treasured times in my clients lives. Kelli, Joshua, and Roman are all so excited for the arrival of their new baby.
When we all met up at the location in Fagleysville. I just discovered this location a few weeks ago and could not wait to have a session there. The car doors opened and Roman was sitting in his carseat with no shirt. His mom Keli knows that Roman would have gotten something on his shirt from the house to the location.
Quick Tip:
It is always best to bring your young kids dresses in normal clothes and then change them into their picture outfits when you arrive at the location! Just be sure to arrive at your session with plenty of time to change them before the session start time. Remember your session starts at the scheduled time not when you arrive.
At the Session:
The weather was fantastic! There was little to no humidity and the temperature was perfect! There was a thin blanket of clouds that kept the harsh sun away but still provided beautiful light. We started by getting shots of the whole family. Roman loved to hold and play with the tall grass. He played with the grass like it was a fishing rod. He would cast it into the field and wait for the fish to come and get it. This was so much fun and made for so many beautiful images.
We stayed on the edge of the field and faced the road so we could get the light from the sun that was hidden behind the trees. Moving from pose to pose, getting all different combinations of everyone together. Even Romans’ little black and white dog named Pup pup made it into some photos.
We ended the session at the walking path. Roman had no shoes, so the whole family decided to go barefoot! This was so much watching them walk back and forth on the path as we got our last shots.
As a reward Roma got a juice pouch! What a great way to end the session. Thank you so much Joshua and Kelie for such a fantastic session. I can’t wait to be with you again once your baby is born!
